Corn chowder and then Alfredo

So I’ve been on a tear lately with cooking — trying a mix of basics and gourmet. Unfortunately none of what I’ve made, I don’t believe, has been on Top Chef on Bravo TV. That’s ok, my wife doesn’t know that…

So, I made a corn chowder last week. I added too much salt, but other than that it’s very healthy ;-) 

And then I altered this Fettuccine Alfredo recipe to use Farfalle with shrimp, salmon, and sweet peas and broccoli. I didn’t want a strong sauce as I thought the fish and vegetables would suffice. My 22 month old daughter loved it. My wife, well, she didn’t really touch the shrimp (all the deveining and peeling, yeeesh).
